Every new GuardSafely account includes a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. Your card is collected at signup but you will not be charged during the 30-day trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will never be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial period.
Because we offer a generous 30-day free trial with no payment required, GuardSafely does not offer refunds on subscription payments. You have a full month to evaluate every feature of the Service before making any financial commitment. By subscribing after your trial, you are confirming that the Service meets your needs.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees, no penalties, and no hassle:
When you cancel, you retain full access to all features through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account keeps full access to all features. Your data remains intact — if you resubscribe later, everything will be right where you left it.
Families receiving government assistance (SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, Section 8, SSI, SSDI, TANF, CHIP, Free/Reduced School Lunch, LIHEAP, or similar programs) can use GuardSafely for free through our Community Access program. Full access to all features, no payment ever required. No documentation needed — it runs on the honor system because we trust you.
If you want to completely remove your account and all associated data, you can do so instantly through the app (Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account). This permanently deletes all your data from our servers, including location history, profiles, zones, spaces, voice messages, and notifications. This action is immediate and irreversible.
While we maintain a no-refund policy, we understand that exceptional circumstances arise. If you believe you have been charged in error or have experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using the Service, please contact us at hello@guardsafely.com. We will review each case individually and do our best to find a fair resolution.
